River Angel. 15.5" high x 6.5 diameter w/foot. Wheel-thrown red earthenware with hand-painted white maiolica glaze.

This wheel thrown form of red earthenware is glazed with white maiolica and hand-painted with delicate images depicting a beautiful angel lingering high above a deep green valley where a beautiful river twists and turns through a lush mountainous landscape. Fired to 1942 degrees F. in oxidation.
